We are pleased to announce that first release candidate for version 0.6.0 of OpenOCD was released. Relevant changes have been done to the repository, the source packages can be downloaded from sourceforge. Windows binary is already available on Freddie Chopin's website.

If no problems occur (no regressions / bugs will be found), the rc1 phase may be short, say 2 weeks. In case of problems the rc1 phase may be extended, or further rc phases may be done.

So start testing and report back if you find any problems!
